Public schools in Queens are operated by the New York City Department of Education. The Department is divided into ten regions, each of which is subdivided into two to four Community School Districts. The northeastern Queens neighborhoods served by the Julia Shildkret Real Estate Group are located in Region 3 and Community School Districts 25 and 26.
Elementary and middle school students assignments are based on attendance zones. The DOE's School Locator can tell you where your child will attend school based on your home address.
